PHOTO GUIDELINES
1- All photos MUST be recent, clear and high resolution and with good lighting, preferably natural lighting
2- Plain background, no clutter or anyone else in the photo
3- Get down to the child’s level, please do NOT take photos with an angle
4- Children must be looking into the camera, those who are too young to take direction must look in direction of the camera
5- Do not use a filter or effects
6- Take different emotions, serious passport style headshots, smiling (with and without teeth showing), Laughing,
7- Babies to be lying down on white/ light grey coloured sheet.
Babies who can sit unaided should be sitting in front of a plain white/ light coloured wall.
Children to be standing in front of a plain white/ light grey wall inside or a fence/ brick wall outside.
8- For babies/toddlers no food, dummies or toys, no snotty nose or dribbling
9- Children should be wearing simple, presentable clothing, no make up or hair accessories and no PJs please. Plain Tshirt and Jeans are the best options.
10- Please do NOT crop your images out of standard photo sizes, Standard industry headshot size is 8x10inch
MODEL CARDS / TAG CARDS
You must upload THREE photos, The first 3 photos on your Tagmin account appear on your Model card AKA Tag card.
Your photos MUST follow all of the guidelines mentioned above
First photo must be a Headshots
You need two headshots on your Model card with different emotions one without smile and one with smile
You must have one full length or half length photo
All photos MUST be resized/cropped using IMAGE RESIZER App to 8x10 inch
Use ‘IMAGE SIZE - PHOTO RESIZER’ app to crop/resize your photos before uploading to tagmin. Choose the frame size 8x10inch and move your photo in the frame until you are happy with final result, Now you can upload them to your tagmin account.
AVOID:
Posting similar/identical photos
Do NOT use Tagmin crop tool, once you choose your photos tagmin gives you the option to automatically crop them into industry standard headshot size (8x10inch), please REMOVE THE TICK from the box.
Tagmin ★ LEA
All Talent must add their Local Education Authority (LEA) to their Tagmin.
All Children 0-16 have LEA (Even if they are not in compulsory school age or home schooled)
Step 1: Open this link on your browser: https://www.gov.uk/find-local-council and type-in your postcode to find your local council.
You might have one or two councils depending on the area, if you have two councils then EDUCATION council is what we need to add to Tagmin. (They are the ones who deal with Child Performance Licence)
Step 2: Open Tagmin and write your LEA (local Education Authority) in LEA box under personal details.

If your child is 4 years and over, we strongly recommend you to join spotlight, if your child is already on spotlight please add R-TEN to the list of agents as soon as your representation starts.
Spotlight is an independent casting platform where we can submit your child for various roles, Spotlight is known as the best way to promote yourself as a professional performer and be seen by casting directors.
