Who are we?

R-TEN is a Spotlight registered Child Modelling and Talent Agency based in South East UK that accept children from 0-18 and and Families of all ages and ethnicities.

Do you accept all applications?

No, we are extremely selective and pride ourselves in accepting only those that we feel are not only right for our agency but right for the industry too.

Can I just turn up at your office to show you my portfolio?

No. We don’t accept walk in appointments,  you must apply via the online application form and we will contact you within 7 days to let you know if we would like to progress with your application.

Do I need a professional portfolio?

No, you don't require a professional portfolio to be accepted by our agency.

All application photos MUST follow our photo guidelines.

What are the costs to join R-TEN?

We do not charge joining fees, However, once accepted to be represented by R-TEN, there is an annual £45 Administration fee which covers your inclusion and maintenance of your profile pages, your personal login details to access your child’s online profile, update your personal details, change availability, update pictures and measurements.

I have heard Agencies should not charge an upfront joining fee?

Nearly all reputable agencies will charge some sort of fee, whether this is a joining fee, Online profile fee, fees for professional photography etc. It is illegal for Modelling agencies to charge an upfront joining fee but not talent agencies. We are a spotlight registered Talent agency and supply children for both Modelling and Acting.

Do I need to obtain a licence for modelling?

According to CHILDREN'S PERFORMANCE REGULATIONS 1968 Children under 16 years of age require a licence for any paid performance. It is the client's responsibility to licence the children. Please note it takes a minimum of 5-10 working days to obtain a licence, depending on the council involved. 

All children who are booked for a job during school hours are also be required to have a letter of Authorisation from their school.

Most auditions and jobs are held after school, between 3:30-7:00 PM for school age children, and during the day for those who don’t attend school.

Do you guarantee work?

No, Unfortunately not, it's down to the client on who they select, all we can do is showcase all our models and their skills to give them the best opportunity.

Are the travel costs reimbursed?

Castings usually take place in London. If you are not based in London or any big cities, please only apply if you are willing to travel.

Do you take on disabled models?

We believe in equal opportunities and job successes for everyone. However, all models on our books will need to be in good health in order to attend the shoot/performance, as well as being happy and confident in front of a camera.
